- Copyright Responsibility: Users are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to the music files they play. The developer does not provide or host any copyrighted music content.
- Network Sources: Use of third-party services (like Google Drive) is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for issues arising from these services.
- Data Ownership: Most data (except optional cloud integration) is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain backups of your personal files on our servers.

Your privacy is our priority. Opus Music Player is designed to collect as little data as possible.
- No Tracking: We do not include third-party advertisements to ensure a clean and private user experience.
- Local-First: All playback history, playlists, and composition notes are stored locally on your device.
- Network Data: NAS or cloud storage connection info (passwords) is encrypted and stored locally only. We never see your credentials.
- Analytics: We may use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage stats (e.g., feature popularity) to improve the app. No personal identifiers are collected.
- Storage Access: The app requires storage permissions to find and play your music files. This data never leaves your device unless you manually share logs.
